About this qualification

This programme prepares experienced early years professionals to assess learners working towards childcare and early years qualifications. It follows the principles of the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, applied to nursery and training-provider settings.

You will learn to plan assessment, observe practice, judge evidence against standards, give feedback and keep records ready for quality assurance.

Please note: this course is not eligible for government student finance (Student Loans Company funding).
