About this qualification

This programme gives hair and beauty specialists the teaching skills to move into a training role. It is built around the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, applied to practical salon skills and classroom delivery.

You will cover session planning, inclusive teaching and learning approaches, managing a group, and assessing learning, and you will deliver a short observed microteach.

Please note: this course is not eligible for government student finance (Student Loans Company funding).
