About this qualification

This programme prepares experienced health and social care professionals to assess the competence of learners in the workplace. It follows the principles of the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, applied to care settings.

You will learn to plan assessment, observe practice safely, judge evidence against standards, give developmental feedback and maintain records for internal and external quality assurance.

Please note: this course is not eligible for government student finance (Student Loans Company funding).
