About this qualification

The Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills) is the recognised full teaching qualification for the FE and skills sector. It covers curriculum and pedagogy, theories of learning, assessment, inclusive practice, subject specialism and professional development, and requires a substantial period of assessed teaching practice with observations. It is a major commitment studied over the course of a year or more, with a dedicated tutor and observer supporting you throughout.

Please note: this course is not eligible for government student finance (Student Loans Company funding).
